The peaceful city of Mariupol, in the Ukraine, has been devastated by an invading enemy, targeting civilian buildings and homes and preventing people from fleeing to the safety of neighbouring towns. Residents sheltered in basements of buildings, believing they were safe but the enemy calculatedly targeted those buildings, entombing them in the rubble.
